Laurent is Regional Head of Leasing at IKEA Centres. He heads the Leasing organization within IKEA Centres Europe being in charge of leasing activities of both existing Centres and new Centre developments.

Laurent is a Business Lawyer educated from Law School in Strasbourg, France specialized in Company Law and Distribution and University of Montpellier, France (Ecole du Droit de l’Entreprise), Personnel Management. Laurent is qualified business lawyer in France and holds a LL.M from the London School of Economics. Laurent Salama has worked in the international retail real estate industry for over 20 years starting his career in a leading law firm specialized in advising large retail organizations ranging from Hypermarkets and DIY to international fashion brands. Then Laurent worked in different operational and managerial positions in Europe, the US and Emerging Markets for large global retailers such as Decathlon and the LEGO Company. At LEGO Laurent held first the position as Store Development Director in charge of  expansion and store build of LEGO brand stores in Europe and the US and was promoted to Property and Franchise Director for the LEGO Group in charge among others of setting-up the franchise business in emerging markets.
Laurent has especially thorough experience and skills in international negotiations in the retail real estate business, cross-border retail expansion strategies and international management in the industry. In addition Laurent is a well-recognized Trainer and Facilitator.
